Where Success Is a Matter of Follow-Through

In 1992, JDi Data set out with one goal in mind: to utilize technology to create innovative solutions, revolutionary methods, and custom services where the insurance industry and all associative professions would realize greater efficiency. JDi’s response to every request has always been, “When do you need it?”

As a solutions provider, JDi’s mission is to develop the custom software to provide complete follow-through, supplying a continued high standard of service with a unique problem-solving approach to every client request.

Understanding the competitive nature of the marketplace, the intricacies of the economy, and the credibility issues that can only be overcome through the long term, JDi’s commitment to client service is its highest priority. Today, as in the past, any small slip can result in a giant fall. This is especially true in insurance, where due diligence and community reign high, and vendors make choices based upon referral. They conscientiously strive to avoid the pitfalls and stumbling blocks, to raise their performance ratings, and achieve exciting new results. JDi’s clients have come to depend on its undivided attention to every need, from initial contact to completion. It is why JDi pride themselves as the company that provides, “Follow-Through in Everything You Do.”

Today more than ever, follow-through is crucial in achieving successful results, especially when it involves claim management. It is why JDi developed a complete claim management system that provides insurance claim departments, third-party claim administrators, and risk managers with the facility and ease to handle the simplest claims to the most complex litigation. Every adjuster knows the drill — the phone is always ringing and they need to locate a file now! JDi’s sophisticated search capabilities can put that file front and center in seconds. Clients have seen how it captures all relevant claim information, documents all file activity, incorporates all reports and correspondence, all while maintaining permanent transaction records for multiple claims and/or multiple clients.

Whether they work with property, casualty, workers’ comp, general liability, commercial, auto, public entity, or excess coverage, JDi provides clients with immediate access to all of their claim information.

•  All activity is completely documented

They have even incorporated user-defined, client-dependent reference lists like reserve categories and features (kind of loss, type of loss, line of business, and cause of loss) and more comprehensive reporting (loss runs, exports, triangulation, and more).

AccesADoc document depository provides access to all documents, including reports, faxes, pictures, etc. Ad hoc reporting is simple using Crystal, SQL, and other common reporting tools. They can report to ISO and NISS as well as perform all state reporting. There is even a mail merge letter generator to provide the ability to design letters utilizing populated fields from the database. There is electronic accounts reconciliation and the software is browser-based for easy access and simple maintenance.

In their capacity as a third-party financial administrator, JDi pooled their application and understanding of insurance company due diligence, reporting requirements, and legal community case awareness to shape a unique concept for managing and tracking construction defect financial litigation data – Vendor Cost Control. VCC exports expenses, payments, carrier and subcontractor insurer shares using the moving tier format of a changing participant environment with reallocations in seconds. All of the necessary information is stored in a central database, available to subscribers through their web site and accessible 24/7 over the Internet from any location in the world. Vendors can upload invoices and review their accounts payable ledgers online. Attorneys can log on and review a claim’s financial information, and adjusters can identify what they are paying for and review all vendor invoices using our document depository.

Combining all of the vital aspects of activity documentation found in varying degrees within their Claim Manager and Vendor Cost Control products, JDi created Times Manager. Easy to implement, it organizes all notes for instantaneous retrieval, documents all daily activity, produces hourly billing invoices, and references everything in the database related to a particular search.
